TRIAL DESIGN
Trial Design Randomised controlled pilot study.
Study Aim The aim of the study is to study the cost effectiveness and patient satisfaction of patient self-testing of INR (International Normalised Ratio) using a Point of Care device for capillary sampling in conjunction with U-Tell INR software, to support decision making in advice to dosing compared to standard care. The efficacy of U-Tell INR in facilitating patients to remain within therapeutic range will also be considered.
